This was another of those glorious blue-sky days with the temperatures in the low 70s. It makes you long for spring but you know that snow, sleet and icey roads are just around the corner. I washed the sheets and hung them out to dry. The windows were pried open to let the warm breezes in.
I vacuumed up tons of ladybugs and flies. They also like the warm spring-like weather and are clustered around the south and west windows like Hannah Montana fans waiting for the concert.
Tomorrow is supposed to be nice again, but Wednesday will bring us back to reality. January and February always do this - they bring us little snippets of warm weather just to let us know that all is not lost. It's hard to look up at a cloud-covered sky that is threatening rain, sleet, or snow and remember that there is a beautiful blue sky just waiting to be uncovered.
It's always there, but we don't always see it.
