Sixty-one And Counting

My birthday started out as a foggy, gloomy day. I was happy to see the sun come out later. What a beautiful blue sky! I got groceries early and then met Jimmy in town for lunch. After that, I went to Winchester to buy two razor scooters for the girls for Christmas (on sale!!).

Back home, we got ready to meet up with Charlie and Alice to go to Charlestown to the casino for the buffet dinner - this time it was steak and shrimp. The steaks were just cut off strips, not whole steaks, and they were a little dry. The Tuesday night crab legs and shrimp is a better deal. I thought it was going to be crab legs, but I was wrong. Oh well. Everything else was great! Tasty! Yum!

After we finished eating, we spent a little time and money in the casino at the slots. Alice was winning $2.50 at the nickel machine but she lost it all in the end. Darn! I hate it when that happens.

Jimmy left us for a few minutes to try his hand elsewhere. When he came back to get us (I get lost in that place!) he had a receipt in his hand for $200. He gave part of it to me! Yea!

Tomorrow is the other craft fair and I have everything ready to go. In the evening, the family is getting together for dinner, cake and ice cream.

My birthday is almost over. I'm a little surprised at how quickly it came around again. Didn't I just have one several months ago?
