Blue Ribbons

I went to pick up my fair entries before church this morning. I received three first place ribbons and one second place ribbon (and $9!).

The first place ribbons were for the fashion doll beaded wedding gown, the smocked dress and the painted hatbox. Second place was for the Irish lace pineapple doily. The cross-stitch picture of Maggie and Emma didn't win anything (except a place in my heart). The winning cross-stitch picture was huge and was a collage-type scene of a child's face with a hand above his head and a finger pointing towards him, with a bunch of other stuff in the background. It was very detailed and I'm sure it took forever to stitch.

I've already got a few ideas in my head for next year.
