Happy 41st!

Yesterday was our 41st anniversary. How could 41 years have come and gone so quickly?!? We both were puzzled as to where the time has gone. His face has gotten older and he's lost most of his hair. My hair is still plentiful, but it's very grey. My face is missing and my mother's has taken its place.

Up until about 25 years ago, I used to put my wedding gown on just to make sure it still fit. The last year I tried it on, I almost couldn't get it OFF!! I haven't tried that stunt since.

Last night, we went to Charles Town to eat crab legs and shrimp. Totally delicious! The buffet has all kinds of food - chicken, roast beef, Chinese, vegetables, breads, deserts, ice cream, fish - really more than anyone could eat. I don't think anyone could eat one of each type of food, there's just too many to choose from. We don't even look, really, at anything except the crab legs and steamed shrimp, unless you mention "ice cream". I think he had some cole slaw and something else. After I ate my 16 crab legs and pile of steamed shrimp, I was too busy eating my ice cream sundae to notice what he was chowing down on.

On the way back home, I noticed it was almost 8 pm. We had to laugh at that! There was a time in our earlier years that we didn't even go out until 8 pm. We certainly were coming home at that time!
